Share Your Recipe, Share Your Story

Food is about so much more than what we eat.

It brings people together, carries memories, celebrates culture and tells the story of who we are.

Feeding Liverpool is creating a new collection of recipes and food stories from across the city. We want to hear from local residents, community food spaces, food businesses, charities, community groups, schools, faith organisations and network partners about the dishes that matter to them.

We are looking for recipes that have a story behind them. This could be:

  • A family favourite passed down through generations
  • A recipe connected to your culture or heritage
  • A dish that reminds you of home
  • A meal that brings your community together
  • A budget-friendly recipe that helps make food go further
  • A recipe that celebrates Liverpool and local food
  • Something simple that you love to cook and share

Selected recipes will be featured on the Feeding Liverpool website and may also be included in social media content, including recipe posts, photography and short video interviews about what food means to you.

We would love to hear not only about the recipe itself, but also the story behind it. Why is it important to you? Who taught you to make it? When do you cook it? What memories does it hold?

Complete our recipe submission form and tell us:

  • Your recipe
  • The story behind it
  • Some information about yourself and/or your organisation
  • Whether you would be interested in being featured in photos or video content

Together, we will create a collection that celebrates the diversity, creativity, traditions and communities that make Liverpool’s food culture so special.

We can’t wait to hear your stories.
